Executive Team to formally endorse Maxxon Corporation’s commitment to advancing innovation in floor preparation. This newly formed leadership team possesses more than five decades of underlayment industry expertise.

Maxxon Corporation recruited Jonsson in 2002 to help lead the company’s then fledgling commitment to understanding floor/ceiling acoustics and developing cost-effective, high performing sound control solutions. A graduate of Bethel University, Minneapolis, MN, with a BS in Physics, Mechanical Engineering, Jonsson initially applied his degree in vibration analysis and acoustical testing of building components. With Maxxon, Jonsson has led a variety of cross-functional projects ranging from new product development to major strategic realignments designed to reinforce Maxxon’s long-term position as leader in the industry.

Maxxon Corporation is privileged to announce the addition of one of the industry’s most valued experts to the leadership team. Joining Maxxon Corporation as Executive Vice President, Sales and Marketing, Philip Ciesiulka brings with him a wealth of flooring industry knowledge and experience. Prior to joining Maxxon Corporation, Ciesiulka helped lead USG’s Tile and Flooring Solutions division, playing an integral role in the development of their Performance Flooring business and leading the team’s growth efforts as Vice President of Sales. Ciesiulka is a DePaul University graduate, where he received his MBA in Operations Management.

Rounding out the leadership team is Vice President of Research and Development, Erik Holmgreen, Ph.D. Holmgreen received his doctorate in Chemical Engineering from The Ohio State University focusing on the characterization and testing of heterogeneous catalyst systems. He then spent over a decade in a variety of R&D roles with Honeywell; leading new product development teams and research operations around data quality and test design. Since joining Maxxon in 2017 he has employed his Six Sigma Black Belt training to position R&D for accelerated and data-driven new product development. He additionally has responsibility for quality assurance programs and field technical support.

Innovation is cornerstone to the MaxTech, Inc. mission and the formation of the Maxxon Corporation leadership team ensures the company’s long-term commitment to advancing the industry. In 2022, Maxxon Corporation and the gypsum underlayment industry will celebrate 50 years in existence. Under the team’s direction, Maxxon Corporation will leverage the opportunity to advance innovation, education and service to the building and construction industry.
