Classic Lamps Posts decorative poles are a unique composition of a reinforced center pole inserted into a durable high density polyethylene decorative outer shell that is solidified together with a hardening foam. This patented process is called Polysteel®.

The combination provides for a beautiful and high performance pole with the added convenience of low maintenance cost. The outer shell is made of Linear Low Density Polyethylene (LLPE) which contains UV inhibitors to maintain the integrity of the material for years of maintenance free performance. The material contains 50% recycled material which helps contribute to LEED credits under the US Green Building Council sustainability initiative.

The LLPE material is a "color through material" which means that the color is the same throughout. If an attempt was made to vandalize the decorative pole with a sharp instrument, the result would be much less conspicuous due to the color through material. The LLPE also has great ant-graffiti resistance against pens, markers, and spray paint.
