The National Association of Architectural Metal Manufacturers (NAAMM) is the Chicago-based trade association representing manufacturers of a wide range of metal products used chiefly in commercial and industrial building construction. These products include metal stairs and railings, flagpoles, expanded metal, hollow metal doors and frames, steel and aluminum bar grating and metal lathing and furring.

Established in 1938, NAAMM currently has four operating Divisions, with member firms producing specific products. NAAMM Divisions enjoy considerable latitude in planning and conducting projects and programs. However, the underlying focus of each Division is the same and follows the Associations overall goals of:

1. Developing, maintaining, publishing and distributing technical information on metal products for building construction. This includes specifications, manuals and other information for building design professionals,
2. Promoting the use of NAAMM technical resources, NAAMM member firms and their products,
3. Providing a forum for the exchange of management and technical information among the members.
