Non-Rated, Flush

NT: 1" Flange
Nystrom NT Series non-rated access panels are designed with a one inch exposed flange for flush installation in any wall or ceiling material.

NW: Drywall Flange
Nystrom NW Series non-rated access panels provide access through drywall walls or ceilings, while maintaining a minimal sight line for a concealed appearance.

NP: Plaster Flange
Nystrom NP Series non-rated access panels are manufactured with plaster casing bead frames for a concealed appearance in plaster walls or ceilings, leaving only the door exposed.

Non-Rated, Flush, Security

MT: 1" Flange, 12ga
Nystrom MT Series medium security access panels are manufactured with heavy-duty materials to prevent unwanted access, and a one inch flange for installation in any wall or ceiling material.

MW: Drywall Flange, 12ga
Nystrom MW Series medium security access panels are manufactured with heavy-duty materials to prevent unwanted access, and a drywall bead frame for a concealed appearance on drywall walls or ceilings.

MP: Plaster Flange, 12ga
Nystrom MP Series medium security access panels are manufactured with heavy-duty materials to prevent unwanted access, and a plaster casing bead frame for a concealed appearance in plaster walls or ceilings.

HS: High Security, 10ga
Nystrom HS Series high security access panels are manufactured with detention grade materials for installation on any wall or ceiling material.

TS: Top Security, 7ga
Nystrom TS Series top security access panels are manufactured from detention grade materials for installation on any wall or ceiling material. In addition, the formed door creates a return flange on the perimeter of the door to ensure flatness of material, and tamperproof edges (excellent for plumbing chases).

Fire-Rated, Insulated

IT: 1" Flange
Nystrom IT Series fire rated access panels provide access through fire rated walls or ceilings. The IT model can be mounted in any material including drywall, plaster, and CMU.

IW: Drywall Flange
Nystrom IW Series fire rated access panels provide access through fire rated drywall walls or ceilings, while maintaining a minimal sight line for a concealed appearance.

IP: Plaster Flange
Nystrom IP Series fire rated access panels provide access through fire rated plaster walls or ceilings, while maintaining a minimal sight line for a concealed appearance.

Nystrom SP Series medium security fire rated access panels are manufactured with heavy-duty materials to prevent unwanted access, and a plaster casing bead flange for a concealed appearance on plaster.

Fire-Rated, Uninsulated

UT: 1" Flange
Nystrom UT Series fire rated access panels provide access through fire rated walls, in any material including drywall, plaster, and CMU.

UW: Drywall Flange
Nystrom UW Series fire rated access panels provide access through fire rated drywall walls, while maintaining a minimal sight line for a concealed appearance.

UP: Plaster Flange
Nystrom UP Series fire rated access panels provide access through fire rated plaster walls, while maintaining a minimal sight line for a concealed appearance.

Exterior Panels

XT: 1 1/4" Flange
Nystrom XT Series exterior access panels provide efficient and quick access in exterior applications, while keeping even the harshest of environments out of the building. Dual acting non-locking handles make it possible to open this door from the inside or outside. An exterior lockable handle is also available.

Recessed Panels

RA: No Flange
Nystrom RA Series recessed access panel is designed with a 5/8" depth pan to receive acoustical tile for a concealed appearance.

RW: Drywall Flange
Nystrom RW Series recessed access panel is designed with a 5/8" depth pan to receive a layer of drywall for a concealed appearance.

RP: Plaster Flange
Nystrom RP Series recessed access panel is designed with a 5/8" depth pan to receive plaster for a concealed appearance.

Specialty Panels

FRD: Oversized Fire Rated
Nystrom FRD Series double leaf access panels provide access through walls or ceilings of any material. They provide a solution for large 2 or 3 hour fire rated openings. The FRD is the industry's only fire rated access panel with sizes available larger than 24" x 36" in ceilings. The double leaf design has a removable mullion.

FRU: Upward Opening, Fire Rated
Nystrom FRU Series access panels are for those special installation circumstances when the door of the access panel must swing upward or inward. The FRU is available with a Warnock Hersey 2 or 3 hour fire rating.

DTK: Draft Stop
Nystrom DTK Series self closing, self latching access panels provide access through draft stops in attic spaces. They prevent back draft from one section of an attic to another. This standard non-rated access door is self-closing and allows for access from both sides of the door.

PL: Plastic
Nystrom PL Series plastic access panels provide simple and inexpensive access through a wall or ceiling in residential or light-duty applications. The lightweight design with a removable door is easily installed by applying glue or adhesive to the back of the frame.

LW: Light Weight, Insulated
Nystrom LW Series Non-Rated Light-Weight Access Panel. This Panel offers a solution to larger
openings in horizontal applications. Lightweight-Fabricated out of 26-gauge pre-finished embossed galvanized steel. Available in aluminum for rust corrision resistance.
