Dur-A-Flex Inc.   Flooring System Performance Topcoats

Dur-A-Flex® Performance Topcoats offer you a complete selection of finishing solutions and give you an extra measure of control over the appearance and function of your flooring systems. Together with the inherent chemical and abrasion resistant qualities of Dur-A-Flex® coatings and matrix layers, Performance Topcoats deliver superior corrosion resistance and increase your floor's longevity. Available in high-gloss, satin or flat urethane formulations or an attractive low-glare satin finish acrylic coating, you can brighten or soften the lighting in your facility. Whatever your flooring application, Dur-A-Flex® topcoats make your floors better looking and easier to maintain.

Urethanes

Poly-Thane 1
Superior corrosion-resistant clear coating for the highest level of chemical resistance (may amber slightly); recommended as a topcoat for Shop-Floor¿, Dur-A-Gard¿ and Dur-A-Quartz¿ flooring systems.

Poly-Thane 2
Non-ambering corrosion-resistant clear coating; recommended as a topcoat for Dur-A-Quartz¿ and Dur-A-Chip¿ decorative epoxy flooring systems.

Poly-Thane 2 High Solids
Designed to ultimately replace Poly-Thane #2 and provide the best wearability without the VOC concerns encountered with traditional urethane topcoats. This clear, non-ambering topcoat is recommended for Dur-A-Quartz and Dur-A-Chip decorative epoxy floor systems.

Poly-Thane 3
Non-ambering corrosion-resistant pigmented coating; recommended for Shop-Floor¿ and Dur-A-Gard¿ flooring systems. Many standard colors, finishes and custom color matches available.

Dur-A-Glaze #5
Our no ¿ odor, fast curing, UV resistant, clear topcoat; recommended as a topcoat for Dur-A-Quartz¿ and Dur-A-Chip¿ decorative floor systems or when an odor free topcoat is required.

Epoxies

Dur-A-Glaze Novolac
This 100% solids, no-VOC, epoxy coating is specified as a topcoat when the ability to withstand corrosion and high heat is a priority.

Crete-Gard
Formulated especially for Dur-A-Crete¿ trowel applied mortar systems, this advanced-chemistry, super-high- viscosity hardener, saves time and material¿enabling you to finish your floor with a single coating.

Acrylics

These 100% reactive acrylic resins, based on methyl methacrylate, are the fastest curing topcoats in our line. When you prefer a low-glare satin finish that tends to diffuse light, these coatings are the perfect choice. All Cryl-A-Flex floor systems require a topcoat of either Cryl-A-Top T-301 or Cryl-A-Top T-302. They are part of the matrix.

Cryl-A-Top T-302
More flexible than T-301¿, ideal for cold temperature environments.

Cryl-A-Top T-301
This fast-curing, high-strength topcoat is a UV- resistant and will not yellow or chalk. Required as a topcoat for Cryl-A-Shield¿, Cryl-A-Gard SL¿, Cryl-A-Chip¿,Cryl-A-Floor¿, Cryl-A-Quartz¿ flooring systems.
