Major Industries Inc.   Guardian 275® - Translucent Daylighting

Provides beautiful natural daylighting, while reducing glare and heat loss. Natural energy efficiency saves money and stabilizes HVAC loads. Lightweight Guardian 275® translucent glazing saves money by lowering total skylight weight, which in turn reduces structural requirements for most roof designs. Composite design features an aluminum grid core and reinforced fiberglass skin, providing one of the highest strength-to-weight ratios available for daylighting applications. Water management is designed into all skylights with an integral condensation gutter and weeping system on all structural members. Long-term weather protection for our exterior fiberglass face sheet starts with the most advanced polyester resin package ever developed for commercial daylighting. Ultimate Series™ technology utilizes a unique blend of polymers, UV inhibitors, color stabalizers, and a permanent fiberbloom erosion veil to establish a new benchmark for long-term performance.
