The Willard Roll-up Shutter
Our Willard Roll-up Shutter is available in a variety of assembly configurations to suit any of your application requirements. The Willard Roll-up Shutter can be used for storm protection, privacy, security, sunshade, and insulation in cooler climates. Operation can be manual using a hand crank from the interior or exterior, electrically operated, or a combination of both. We also offer a variety of electronic accessories such as remote controllers, timers, and weather and light sensors to customize your shutter system to meet the requirements of today¿s modern architectural designs.
We feature an all aluminum frame work and a variety of curtain (horizontal rolling slats) materials: several widths and styles of extruded and roll-formed aluminum, and extruded PVC. All materials are offered in a variety of colors.
Two types of assembly systems are available. Our end-cap ideal for export and retrofit applications, and our bracket system can be used in custom applications and new construction. Both systems utilize only the highest quality components and fasteners available in the industry today.
For your convenience, our in house engineering staff is available to assist you in developing the system best suitable for your requirements.
Islander BAHAMA SHUTTERS/RESIDENTIAL
Quality built to withstand the most extreme environmental conditions such as hurricanes, salt air and high humidity, the energy saving ISLANDER aluminum shutters are ideal for use on homes, apartments, condominiums and townhouses. Also as a sun control device, the ISLANDER is highly effective in reducing solar heat build-up over windows, porches, carports and other areas. Especially practical to cover sliding glass doors and to enclose terraces, patios, and balconies.
Islander BAHAMA SHUTTERS/COMMERCIAL
Providing privacy, sun control, weather protection and security, the ISLANDER aluminum shutters are not only functional but attractive for commercial applications such as banks, schools, and other institutions. Since our traditional design is more attractive than ordinary industrial louvers, imaginative architects and engineers are continually creating new arrangements. You can design new building exteriors or reface existing facades.

Expertly designed and engineered to meet the rigid requirements of the South Florida Building Code, the attractive ISLANDER Colonial Hinged Shutter provides the durability to withstand hurricane wind forces. Installed beside windows, ISLANDER Colonial Hinged Shutters swing to close and can be locked to discourage unauthorized entry and vandalism. Available in single and double shutters. Islander DECORATOR SHUTTERS
Willard offers the finest high quality aluminum Islander Ornamental Shutters with real louvers. Finished with a low gloss paint, this attractive non-functional fixed shutter eliminates costly maintenance problems such as warping, rotting and frequent refinishing¿ it looks exactly like wood.
Shipped complete with hardware, they are available with tabs on top and bottom or holes in corners for easy installation.
Islander STANDARD ROLLING SHUTTER
Manufactured with real louvers which look like wood, the ISLANDER all-aluminum Standard Rolling Shutters attractively provide privacy, sun control, weather protection as well as offer security from break-in. Islander SILL TRACK ROLLING SHUTTER

WILLARD FOLDING ACCORDION SHUTTERS
With just a touch of your finger, Willard¿s Folding Accordion Shutters lock from the inside to keep wind and rain out and give burglar-proof safety. Especially ideal for high-rise apartments, condominiums and storefronts. Enjoy your screened porch or balcony all year-round by reducing unwanted sun or cold winter winds. See-through vents can be installed if desired, or complete privacy can be provided. Manufactured from heavy aluminum extrusions with .125" thick headers, finest quality stainless steel carriers and nylon wheels will offer years of maintenance free service. To prevent pitting and corrosion, these shutters are electrostatically painted with modified acrylic/polyester enamel applied over properly pre-treated aluminum and baked at 350 degrees for durability and long life. Each shutter of painted aluminum passes standard tests as recommended by ASTM and AAMA 603.8. Available in medium bronze, beige and white colors.
Islander SCREENS
Our ISLANDER Screen panels offer an attractive method to conceal air conditioning units and unsightly equipment on rooftops. They also make an excellent sunscreen installed over windows or set out from building as vertical panels.
"ECONO-SPAN" SCREENS
Econo-span screen system, economically priced and easy to install, is available in three styles for concealing rooftop equipment. The Horizontal styles, with a choice of 22º or 45º pitched louvers snap firmly to vertical stringers. The Picket style features vertical louvers which snap firmly to horizontal supports.
CLIP LOCK REMOVABLE STORM SHUTTERS
Precision rollformed structural panels are available in various gauges of aluminum or galvanized steel for use over glass doors, windows, and storefronts. These panels provide protection from storms and security from vandalism or malicious mischief.

DESIGN CRITERIA:
These Storm Panels are designed and tested in accordance with Sec. 3511 of the So. Fla. Bldg. Code. Recovery at Test Load¿ 80% min.
NOTES: Deflection Limit at 1.5. Safety Factor from Test Load¿ I/80
1) Anchors to conc. shall be 1/4"x1" Drive Nails for permanent type installation and 1/4"-20 bolts in Star Tampin for removable installation.
2) Steel panels shall have a min. U.S. = 40,000 psi and U.S. = 60,000 psi. Alum. panels shall be alloy 3003-H16.
3) Panels may be mounted horizontally as well as vertically using clear span.
4) Anchors in conc. shall be placed 1-1/2" clear to edge of conc.
5) All storm panels exceeding a clear span of 6'0" shall have 1/4" -20 bolts connecting panel located at midspan.
WILLARD ROLL-UP SHUTTERS
Roll-Up Shutters come with an all aluminum frame-work and are available in PVC, foam-filled aluminum, and extruded aluminum slats.
