Islander Screens
The Willard Islander Screen System offers an attractive method to conceal air conditioning units and unsightly mechanical equipment on rooftops or other areas. They also make an excellent sunscreen when installed over windows or set out from a building as vertical panels.
Econo-Span Screens
The Willard Econo-Span Screen System is comprised of roll formed louvers that snap firmly into "double grip" posts. Economically priced and easy to install, Willard Econo-Span Screens are especially practical for concealing unsightly roof-top HVAC equipment, designing new building exteriors or refacing existing facades.
Custom Design:
Willard Products are custom manufactured to your requirements at no extra cost. They can be fabricated to any width and any height according to specified product limitation.
Colors:
Roll-formed materials are available in 10 colors and extruded materials are available in 4 colors. High-temperature polyurethane custom coatings are available upon request.

Weather Control:

Willard: Islander Screens
Quality built to withstand extreme environmental conditions such as hurricanes, salt air and high humidity, energy-saving Islander aluminum screens and shutters are ideal for use on homes, apartments, condominiums and townhouses. Also an excellent sun control device, Islander Shutters are highly effective in reducing solar heat build-up over windows, porches, carports and similar areas.
Islander Shutters are especially practical for covering sliding glass doors and enclosing terraces, patios and balconies.
SPECIFICATIONS
GENERAL
Louvered Aluminum Screen Panels shall be the Islander style as manufactured by Willard Shutter Co., Inc., Miami, Florida, where indicated and as detailed on drawings.
CONSTRUCTION
Panels shall consist of a series of 1-3/4" wide fixed louvers inserted into interlocking box-beam frames, 1-5/8" thick and 2-1/2" wide. Louvers shall be rolled with a converse beveled edge design and spaced in 1-1/4", 1-1/2", or 1-3/4" height increments.
MATERIALS
Box-beam and louvers shall be 3005-H26 roll-formed aluminum, .025" thick. Interior foam shall be expanded polystyrene insulation to meet federal specifications HH-1-524a. I-beam inserts shall be 6063-T6 extruded aluminum, .062" typical wall thickness. All fasteners shall be self-tapping stainless steel machine screws or blind rivets, aluminum alloy 2024-T4. All component accessories and installation hardware shall be of high quality stainless steel or other non-corrosive materials.
FINISH
Box-beam frame and louvers shall be roller-coated baked enamel in a medium gloss as selected from manufacturer¿s standard colors.
