Arplama Group is a European corporation which develops, manufactures and distributes thermosets. In 2002, Arplama Group effected a 16 million EUR turnover, employing some 200 staff. Operations were branched into two divisions: the "Industrial Product Division (I.P.D.)" and "Arplama SolidSurface Technology (A.S.T.)".

Jointly, the five branches (Belgium, Germany, Romania and the USA) of the Industrial Product Division chiefly produce and sell constructional moulded sections in fibre-reinforced thermosets (parts for buses, lorries, cranes and bulldozers, ...) and parts made in polyurethane (dashboards, steering wheels, armrests, ...) as a subcontractor.

The A.S.T. division exclusively focuses on the manufacturing of "Hard Solid Surface" composite materials that are used in the production of worktops and panels intended for all manner of horizontal and upright interior applications. The A.S.T. division trades its products under the Askilan® and Sand'Or® brandnames.
