Johnson Granite Resources (JGR), started in April 1998, founded itself a supplier of granite products. The reason we adopted a typical English name for our business instead of a Chinese one in roman letters is simply out of the consideration that it sounds familiar with our overseas customers. It is also easier for both communication and memory.

The area where we are located is so abundant in granite resources that we are grateful for the gift from the nature. In addition, there are andesite, black basalt, porphyry and sandstone from our area. So far as we are concerned, we have a record of 256 colors in granite, marble, travertine, limestone, basalt and slate. Most of them are being displayed on our website.

Over the past few years, more and more import granite, marble, limestone and travertine are coming in on a stable basis. You can find almost all the stones from around the world here in our local block-yards. Many of them are made into tiles, slabs, kitchen counters, vanity tops, bowls and sinks. They are exported again to countries like USA, Japan, Australia, Canada and Britain.

In the first years of our commencement, we supplied only cut-to-size products for importers and distributors. But with the passing years, we have learned to furnish for various jobs, such as hotel remodeling and home improvement jobs. Also, we learned to include other products for our customers, such as cast-stone, glass mirrors, glass mosaics, hardwood furniture, wrought irons, and root carvings. All these turned out to be very helpful for our customers.
