Custom Structures / Solariums

Adding a sunroom to a residence allows inhabitants to enjoy the surrounding landscape while being sheltered from bad weather conditions. Whether they are used as a relaxation corner or just a place where plants could grow in the sunlight, solariums and conservatories provide privacy, allowing the homeowners to admire nature and increase the value of the property.

Unicel Architectural manufactures various custom-made solarium styles of solariums and conservatories with different decorative options (cresting and finial, dentils, various aluminum decorative panels etc). Made of aluminum profiles with concealed fasteners, our solariums feature a rain-screen system that provides proper drainage and ventilation. Thanks to the polyshim sealing joint, the structures are hermetically shielded against air and vapor infiltration.

The main conservatory types available include:

Lean-to style;
Edwardian style;
cathedral style;
Victorian style;
Orangery

2-storey cathedral;

As customers become more energy conscious, our solariums are also available with cord-free louvers hermetically sealed between glass panels. Using Vision Control® units to build solariums will provide significant thermal performance and substantial energy savings as well as utmost privacy at the touch of a button.

When incorporating Vision Control® units, the sunroom can become a versatile patio room, transforming it to a new extra room, protected by sun heat, which displays a comfortable indoor temperature level. Also, it helps to heat parts of the main house even on cold days. Because the interior of a solarium warms quickly in sunlight, the structure may provide a means of heating part of the main house.
