Custom sizes available
Mounting height
Up to 10 feet high
Unit return sizes (projection from wall)
Standard returns available: 1/2", 3/4" and 1". Custom returns available as well.
Housing dimensions
Housing widths: 52 inches, 56 inches, 63 inches Height: 13 inches std or 9 inches with side mount motorDepth: 7.5 inches (plus return)
Unit electronic control
In separate electrical box that can be mounted next to unit housing or up to thirty conduit feet away
Emergency power source
Each unit has battery that can power unit for up to ten days
Protection from temporary power failures
Emergency power source takes over if AC power is disrupted.

Screen rewind switch
Yes, located on both sides of screen
Screen deploy switch
Yes, key activated from wall switch
Cove bases required?
No, for elevator openings up to 48 inches. Yes, for opening sizes beyond 48 inches.
Stainless steel auxiliary rails
Rails optional, if elevator frame is ferrous and at least 2" wide. If rails are used, they can be painted to match or left unpainted.

Why Smoke Guard Systems? Because smoke is the real danger. The building code requires certain occupancies to be protected from vertical smoke migration. The elevator door is fire-rated, not smoke tight.
