  StoGuard™, the waterproofing/air barrier component of the NExT™ system is an innovative, spray-applied building wrap that has significant advantages over paper and fabric building wraps. StoGuard™ provides continuous durable coverage of the sheathing without the fastener penetrations, rips or tears that are characteristic of conventional building wraps. The assembly provides superior water penetration and air leakage resistance. StoGuard™ has been tested to resist water penetration even in high winds. Unlike building wraps, StoGuard™ is tear-proof and will not displace with wind-driven gusts.

	Life Cycle Inventory of Sto Engineered Cladding Systems This technical brief provides a summary of the findings from a life cycle inventory study performed for Sto by Franklin Associates / ERG in April 2009. StoTherm NExT insulated wall claddings were found to significantly outperform typical non-insulated stucco and brick cladding systems over a 50 year life span in terms of energy consumed and greenhouse gas emissions.
