E-Crete is a manufacturer of a lightweight, high performance building block used in a variety of commercial, industrial, and residential applications. Made of autoclaved aerated concrete (AAC), E-Crete building blocks offer extraordinary thermal insulation, and fire, mold and pest resistance. Autoclaved aerated concrete has been used successfully for eighty years all over the world.
E-Crete blocks are a designated green building product. Their high strength and durability makes them ideal for load-bearing applications such as wall and lintel construction. Non-load-bearing applications include sound barrier walls, firewalls and fencing.
Benefits:
·E-Crete blocks have extraordinary thermal insulating qualities which lower energy costs for cooling and heating and makes the use of additional thermal insulation unnecessary.
·E-Crete is non-combustible and offers the greatest fire resistance of any building material currently on the market. E-Crete's AAC block has an Underwriters' Laboratories (UL) classified 4-hour fire resistance rating. This far exceeds the requirements of the Standard Building Code and provides a level of protection against loss of life and property that conventional construction cannot approach.
·E-Crete blocks are durable and require low maintenance over the life of a structure.
·E-Crete blocks are lightweight and can be sawn, drilled and milled with common hand tools.
·Termites or insects cannot penetrate E-Crete blocks, which reduce the need for pesticides.
·E-Crete blocks are environmentally friendly and so is the manufacturing process. E-Crete blocks contain all natural ingredients-free of pollutants and toxic materials.
