Chameleon Power has been providing visualization solutions since 1993. Originally founded as U.S. Vertical, a systems integrator, the company provided multimedia kiosks to paint and home improvement stores in North America. The original CD-based solution allowed consumers to visualize accurate paint colors applied to their homes and then order products directly from their local paint store. In 1998, the company shifted its focus to providing Internet solutions through the introduction of its web-based Chameleon rendering engine. The company changed its name to Chameleon Power to reflect this new Internet focus.
