Ray-Bar Lead Lined Solid Core Wood Doors are manufactured to National wood work standards, constructed with the finest core, edging and face veneers available. Standard In-Stock veneers are: Rotary Cut Natural Birch, Plain Sliced Red Oak, Hardboard, Rotary Cut Mahogany, Legacy Walnut, Legacy Oak, Mendocino Oak, and all currently produced plastic laminates such as Wilsonart, Formica, Nevamar, Pionite, etc. are available for prompt delivery. Lead lined wood doors are available non-rated and up to 20 minute fire-rated. For listing of In-Stock lead thickness' available, see 'Ray-Bar Sheet Lead Stock Thickness Chart.' For specifications, see 'Ray-Bar Lead Lined Solid Core Wood Door Specifications.' Lead Lined Solid Core Wood Doors also available with Ray-Bar Lead Lined Vision Lite Frames, or Lead Lined Light Proof Louvers when required. Lead Lining of Hollow Metal Door Frames available installed in frames or in preformed kits. Line inside of frames with single unpierced strip of sheet lead of not less than same thickness as doors and walls in which installed. Form lead shields around areas prepared to receive hardware. Fabricate lead lining wide enough to maintain an effective overlap with lead adjoining shielding units.

Ray-Bar Lead Lined Hollow Metal Doors are made from premium Hot Dipped Galvanized Steel in 18, 16 and 14 gauge steel conforming to ASTM A527, coating Classification ZF001 with no visible seams on faces or edges. Lead Lined Hollow Metal Doors are "ready to paint" or supplied with plastic laminate on faces. Available non-rated, or with fire-ratings up to 90-minute ("B" label) and up to 3-hour fire-rating ("A" label). UL Listed for fire resistance and meets UL IOC and UBC 7-2-1997 positive pressure test requirements part I and II. Available with or without Lead Lined Vision Lite Frames. Ray-Bar for "Specialty Applications" can also provide lead lined doors as stainless steel (304 with #4 finish), and bullet resistant (UL752) in Level 1 (medium power small arms), Level 2 (high power small arms), Level 3 (super power small arms), and also as a certified Level 4 (high power rifle). Ray-Bar Neutron Shielded Door and Frame

Ray-Bar Neutron Shielded Doors, manufactured Lead Lined and/or Borated Polyethylene (BPE) filled cores with steel faces and edges, to customer specifications for over twenty five years. These doors are custom manufactured to suit each individual linear accelerator radiation / oncology project requirement based on linear accelerator energy output, radiation type, orientation to radiation sources, primary beam configuration and overall room design, as either sliding or hinged, swinging doors in new and retrofit applications weighing up to 40,000 lbs. each. Ray-Bar Industrial Type Lead Lined Doors are custom manufactured to meet heavier lead requirements associated with industrial X-Ray or Non-Destructive Testing Rooms. These doors can be furnished with complete top-hung industrial capacity type sliding track and hardware, for new and retrofit applications.
