A FANWALL® system is a highly engineered array of high-efficiency airfoil plenum fans. The basic concept of FANWALL TECHNOLOGY® is the engineered combination of these multiple fan modules into a package suitable for use within an air handler. The multiple fan modules consist of an array of smaller, quieter, and more energy-efficient fans delivering the required airflow. The system includes associated variable frequency drives (VFDs) and controls. In some cases the unit is factory-assembled. In other situations, the unit can be assembled on site.

FANWALL TECHNOLOGY® is the first engineered, systematic approach to this solution. A growing number of FANWALL installations around the world are demonstrating the merits of using multiple fan modules. Other companies have occasionally used two or more parallel fans within an air handler, but without the same results as FANWALL TECHNOLOGY® .
