News   SelecTech announces FreeStyle, a revolution in vinyl flooring.

FreeStyle requires no adhesive or moisture barrier, no subfloor prep and no special installation tools or skills. It can be placed directly over most existing flooring without removing it, including asbestos tile, asphalt tile, resilient, wood, concrete, and VCT as well as problem subfloors with high moisture content, cracks or irregular surfaces. Once pressed together, FreeStyle's overlapping, interlocking edges are hidden, forming a uniform appearance that can be walked-on immediately.

Tiles remain in place under heavy foot traffic and point loads of up to 500 p.s.i and will not shift or separate even when installed over irregular surfaces. FreeStyle tiles can be easily removed without cutting and replaced if damaged. They are also easily moved and reused for a variety of temporary or seasonal applications. FreeStyle contains an additive to protect it from mold and mildew and to resist microbial odor development. It also provides for better comfort under foot.

Since FreeStyle is portable and not permanently affixed to the subfloor, up to 100% of its cost may be deductible in the first year (consult your tax advisor for details). Other financial benefits derive from the elimination of subfloor prep, setup time and old flooring removal, a significant reduction in downtime and disruption to operations, fast installation rates and immediate walk-on after installation.
