Penetron System Receives NSF 61 Certification | Sep 6, 2005 |
ICS Penetron International Ltd., a company that specializes in waterproofing products for major construction projects worldwide, has announced that its Penetron System has received NSF 61 certification, which means tests have proven that Penetron’s products are safe to be used on all applicable materials that come in contact with drinking water at any stage.
Penetron System Receives NSF 61 Certification
NSF, an independent, international non-profit organization that focuses on public health, safety and protection of the environment, certifies products and writes standards for food, water, air and consumer goods. They offer third-party neutrality in standards-conformance assessments that help businesses meet consumer safety requirements.
"NSF 61 is the de facto standard for drinking water systems in our territories,” said Christopher Chen, regional manager of Panexus Corporation, distributor for Penetron products in Latin America and the Caribbean. “It is universally accepted here as part of our engineering and quality control standards. We expect this certification will bolster our efforts to bring Penetron’s products to new markets and expand their use with current customers."
“Achieving NSF 61 certification is one more way we reinforce the quality and performance of our products,” said Robert Revera, president of ICS Penetron. “We are pleased to be able to offer this extra measure of confidence to all our distributors and customers.”
