New VOC compliant concrete sealers from Decosup Inc. | Dec 9, 2005 |
With VOC regulations getting tougher and tougher, and with states like California and New York operating under even stringent VOC regulations than the federal standard, it has become a necessity to find new alternatives. Water base sealers are a popular choice as replacement for solvent base sealers, but the technology is not quite there yet. Solvent base products still greatly outperform water base ones, especially in the decorative concrete industry. That’s why we took the initiative to invest time and resources to develop new solvent base sealers that would meet all the VOC regulations throughout the country. We at Decosup are proud to introduce our new line of VOC compliant dealers, which are made with the same technology and resin than our regular sealers but with different solvent blends and solids contents that allow us to meet all the Federal and State levels.

HardBright Clear VOC:
Made with the same premium 100 % Acrylic Methacrylate resins as HardBright Clear, this VOC compliant concrete sealer provides a hard, shiny protective coat over all surfaces including stamped concrete, overlays and acid stained floors. VOC content is 393 gms. x liter.
HardBright 1315 VOC:
The ultimate Cure & Seal in a VOC compliant formula. Meets or exceeds ASTM 1315 for moisture retention properties. This solvent base formulation provides a hard, glossy film that dries quickly and enhances the color of the substrate. It may be used as sealer for all decorative concrete applications. VOC content is 345 gms. x liter.
PolyBright MCU VOC:
This moisture cure, single component polyurethane provides a super hard finish, high gloss and excellent chemical resistance. Recommended for commercial applications where a tough, durable finish is needed. VOC content is 390 gms. x liter.
