Major Industries Is Recognized By CEFPI | Feb 16, 2006 |
Major Industries was chosen for its innovations in daylighting systems that have substantially improved the educational environments at the following schools: Briscoe Junior High School and Foster High School, Richmond, Texas; Pin Oak Middle School, Bellaire, Texas; and Walkonda Elementary School, Omaha, Nebraska.
According to Wayne Toenjes, President of Major Industries, students are the key beneficiaries anytime his company has the opportunity to provide daylighting systems for a school. "Research studies consistently show that daylight contributes to a better learning environment and that it even helps improve students’ test scores," Toenjes says.
