The Total Door system honored in an exhibit of industrial art | Jan 31, 2007 |
Total Door, an Openings Company, and its president Leon Yulkowski, were recently honored in an exhibit of industrial art at the prestigious Cranbrook Academy and Art Museum in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan. A pair of Total Doors was put on display in an exhibit of accomplishments by Cranbrook alumni.

Leon Yulkowski, an alumnus of Cranbrook’s school of architecture, was singled out for his innovation and the aesthetic design of the Total Door system. Mr. Yulkowksi was honored along with other famous Michigan Cranbrook alumni who have achieved significant success in their careers.
A pair of hollow metal doors with the latest hardware were painted in a designer color on one side and covered with an oak veneer on the other. The pair was hung in a custom display frame to highlight the unique design and aesthetic characteristics of the Total Door system.
Total Door is consistently developing exciting innovations in integrated door assemblies.
