Announcing the Ceiling Innovation Awards For Design Excellence - Sponsored by Chicago Metallic

We invite architects and design professionals to enter our Ceiling Innovation Awards for Design Excellence competition. The competition is open to architects and industry design professionals who have completed projects where the ceiling system is comprised of at least fifty percent Chicago Metallic products. The projects must have been completed from November 2005 through November 2007.

The Judging

Judging will take place in December 2007, directly after the closing deadline. Designs will be judged by a panel of nationally recognized architects, an editor of a leading architecture magazine and a professor of architecture at a leading institution.

The Categories

Entries may be submitted for the following categories:

• Education
• Healthcare
• Transportation
• Other commercial (hospitality, office, industrial, retail, etc.)

The Awards

The following prizes will be awarded:

• A grand prize winner will receive $1,500 and a Certificate of Design Innovation.
• Gold winners in each of the four categories will receive $250 and a Certificate of Design Innovation.
• Silver winners will receive a Certificate of Design Excellence.

All winners be recognized in upcoming Chicago Metallic promotional materials.
