With most people surprised to learn that buildings consume most of the world's energy (around 40%), mainly through heating and cooling, Knauf Insulation has launched the "it's time to save energy" campaign. The campaign aims to increase awareness that insulation is the easiest and most cost effective method of saving energy in buildings. Furthermore, the financial savings from insulation greatly exceed the investment costs - insulation in the average building pays for itself within 2 to 4 years.
