TRACO has announced the introduction of Biscayne products, a new line of Aluminum Structural, Impact and Thermal Impact windows and doors that are designed especially for the Southeast coastal market, particularly the state of Florida. The Biscayne Shutterless impact windows and doors feature a full line of products that comply with Miami Dade County Building Code Compliances Missile Impact Protocols, the Florida Building Code, AAMA and Texas Department of Insurance. These advanced aluminum systems merge hurricane protection with energy efficiency, structural integrity and low maintenance. The windows and doors have passed extensive testing for wind and debris performance and are built to withstand force wind loads of up to 200 MPH. The Biscayne Shutterless Impact windows will enhance and protect property allowing maintenance personnel and building occupants to simple lock the windows and doors and move to a safe location. Biscayne products includesingle hung, sliding, casement and fixed windows and sliding glass doors and terrace doors.
TRACO s four manufacturing facilities, totaling approximately 2 million square feet, are located in Cranberry Township, PA (north of Pittsburgh), Johnson City, TN, Bainbridge, GA, and Red Oak, IA. The company manufactures products for retrofit, new construction and historic projects utilizing state-of-the-art systems.
