Changing the Face of Concrete in the Sunshine State

Nawkaw hired Mel Robinson, of Orlando, Florida, to handle all product and service requests for the State of Florida. Mel comes to Nawkaw with an extensive background in the construction industry. Beginning in 1997, his position with Dura-Loc Roofing Systems, Ltd. as a Regional Manager gave him the opportunity to develop relationships with customers and contractors throughout 13 states, including Florida. Moving on to Tek-Rail in 2000, he was responsible for implementing a PVC rail system within the state of Florida.

Mel comes to us from Leesburg Concrete Company, where he worked alongside developers, contractors, architects and project management groups, including those established within the government, county and educational sectors. His previous experience will be of great value to the Nawkaw operations within the state.

With over 20 years of experience in the design/build, construction and concrete industries, both in the US and Europe, Mel is sure to become the source for Nawkaw product information and service from the panhandle to the keys. Mel’s history of working with architects and specifiers will help facilitate any concrete forming and color staining projects throughout Florida, from Jacksonville to the Florida Keys. The representative for the Florida panhandle is Nathaniel Jones, Southeast Regional Manager. Mr. Jones also represents the states of Georgia and Alabama.
