What is
the Commercial Series? |
The Commercial Series is a new group of rugged, high
performance lighting effects designed for clubs, working DJs, bowling centers etc. to have
an "intelligent" looking light show without the cost of intelligent lighting.
Various features may include: Master/slave; linkable via XLR cable; DMX channels; internal
programs; and stepper motors. All Commercial Series effects come with at least a 1-year
limited warranty (Scotty II has a 3-year warranty).
The Commercial Series: Gamma Ray, Onyx, Onyx II, Proggressor, Scotty II,
Verti-Pro, Fearsome 4, Fearsome 4/II, Roto-Gobo, Roto-Gobo/OL, Water Column/4,
Colorchanger 250 DMX, Vortex and Water Column/4.

What is
Linkable for Synchronizing? |
Products with the 'Linkable' logo can be linked together in a daisychain
and/or a master/slave fashion.

What is
DMX-512 Protocol? |
DMX-512 is the operating language used by lighting
products; similar to MIDI being the operating language for music products. Products with
DMX-512 are referred to as 'Intelligent Lighting' and can perform programmed professional
lighting shows.

What
is MIDI? |
MIDI (Musical Instrument Digital Interface) is the language
that allows electronic instruments to interact with each other. American DJ products with
MIDI will interact with MIDI keyboards, sequencers, drum machines and any other MIDI
compatible musical instrument.

What
is ETS? |
Electronic Thermo Sensing™ (ETS) is a process of temperature regulation used to continuously
heat a fog machine; so there is no waiting between fog blasts!!! ETS is only found in
select American DJ fog machines. See page 44 for more information on ETS and pages 42-44
for fog machines with ETS.
