The Blue Maxx
Stopping Power Story. |
Stops cold.
Blue Maxx walls boast at least an R25 insulation value, and realize 30% to 50% energy savings over conventionally constructed buildings.
Stops heat.
The insulation value of concrete plus expanded polystyrene makes Blue Maxx ideal for hot weather climates, and buildings housing cold
storage or refrigerated areas. Blue Maxx thermal mass means air conditioning savings can be 40% to 100%.
Stops water.
Two blocks of expanded polystyrene stop air/vapor with no additional barrier needed. And Blue Maxx foundations resist cracking, providing a
dry, cozy environment.
Stops fire.
Compared to an unrated "stick-built" wall that will burn through in minutes, a Blue Maxx wall earns a three-hour fire rating.
Stops drafts.
With no possibility of intervals between the insulation bats, or voids, drafts and cold spots can't occur.
Stops rot.
Unlike wood walls, Blue Maxx solid concrete plus expanded polystyrene composition provides no suitable materials to support mildew, and
no possibility that green lumber will result in warping and dry rot inside the wall.
Stops sound.
A Blue Maxx home is a quiet place. With a sound transmission class rating of 50, you won't hear street traffic or noisy lawn mowers. Just rap
your knuckles on a hollow wall, then on a Blue Maxx wall. You'll both hear and feel the amazing difference!
Stops deforestation.
No wood products are used in a Blue Maxx wall. And Blue Maxx is much less vulnerable to unforeseen cost overruns due to sudden price
increases of lumber.
Stops pollution.
With no CFC's or HCFC's used or produced in creating Blue Maxx Wallsystems, we're environmentally friendly to the atmosphere as well as
to the earth's forests.
