Custom Metalworks™
From magazine clipping, snapshot of an interesting shape, a rough sketch, detailed drawing or a design we work out together, if you can
imagine it, we can build it. The process starts with a technical review. Design objectives, ventilation requirements, motor placement, lighting,
mounting system and the like are carefully analyzed. The completed design then passes to the hands of our master craftsmen to form your
one-of-a-kind hood. From Abbaka's Custom Metalworks.
Asymmetric Balance

This complex engineered structure allows the canopy of the hood to cantilever elegantly to the right of the flue. To free up the interior space
needed to maintain this sleek profile, the ventilator motor is moved outside the hood and mounted on the roof of the home.
Attention to detail is a critical component of every Custom Metalwork. Fixing hardware for the rear mounted utensil rail, as well as wall mount
attachment bolts, are concealed by the hood's full interior liner. Horizontal metal grain is maintained on all surfaces. All joining fusion welds
are ground and blended. A fine grain was selected for this piece. However, it could have been varied, such as combining mirror finish with
satin, or even adding a swirl pattern to a surface.
When the concept and execution calls for the extraordinary, call on Abbaka's Custom Metalworks.
Mirror Understatement

There are few today who have the skills required to perform the arduous task of forming, joining and polishing sensitive materials such as
mirror stainless. Abbaka Custom Metalworks.
Architectural Detail

It is one thing to fold a straight standing seam of thin material. Quite another if in a curved surface. Nearly impossible if this is a stainless
add-on. Abbaka Custom Metalworks. |
