System Mode Control Module Page - 1

SMC™
SYSTEM MODE CONTROL MODULE

CHANGES VAV SYSTEM BETWEEN COOLING AND HEATING

The Acutherm SMC solves the difficulty of finding a location for the changeover thermostat in VAV systems controlling the master zone with discharge thermostats. It is ideal for modular VAV systems using Therma-Fuser subzones. Up to five sensors can be mounted in five selected Therma-Fusers to sense space temperature at each location.

SIMPLE WIRING FOR EASY LOW COST INSTALLATION

The minimum electrical connection is 5 wires to the master zone unit, 2 wires to the discharge air sensor and 3 wires to each sensor. No wiring or boxes in the walls because the sensors are in Therma-Fusers.

Set points easy to understand and easy to establish by adjusting potentiometers. A voltmeter is all that is needed

BUILT IN 7 DAY 24 HOUR CLOCK

Times for occupied, unoccupied and preoccupancy modes for each day of the week are easily programmed in one minute increments. Monday - Sunday, Monday - Friday and Saturday - Sunday blocks available for quick programming. Battery reserve maintains time, program storage and LCD display for 150 hours during power failure. Simple one press daylight savings / standard time adjustment.
