SUGGESTED SPECIFICATIONS

Mortise Exit Devices shall be as manufactured by Adams Rite. There shall be models suitable for mounting on narrow stile aluminum door, wood doors and hollow metal doors. All devices  shall use Adams Rite's ramped strike for operating efficiency and load requirements. Exit device shall be made of extruded aluminum pushbar and back bar. Finishes shall be anodized aluminum or clad in architectural finishes. No plating shall be used. Pushbar travel shall be one inch towards door surface. No plating shall be used. Pushbar shall be one inch towards door surface. All bar mounting fasteners shall be hidden.

The 8000 Series exit devices shall be U.L. listed for Life-Safety. The 3000 series exit devices shall be U.L. fire-rated for three hours for openings of 8'0" x 8'0" and Warnock Hersey listed for openings of up to 8'0" x 10'0".

All exit devices shall meet ANSI/BHMA requirements for Grade I.
