SUGGESTED SPECIFICATIONS

Inset Exit Devices, both Concealed Vertical Rod and Mortise Type, shall be as manufactured by Adams Rite. Top latch and strike shall interlock door to frame with Adams Rite's patented interlocking latch mechanism. Exit device shall be made of extruded aluminum pushbar and back bar. Finishes shall be anodized aluminum or clad in architectural finishes. Pushbar travel shall be one inch towards door surface. All bar mounting fasteners shall be hidden.

The 8000 Series exit devices shall be U.L. listed for Life-Safety. The 3000 Concealed Vertical Rod exit devices shall be U.L. fire-rated for 9 minutes for openings of 8'0" x 8'0" and Warnock Hersey listed for openings of up to 8'0" x 10'0". The 3000 Series Mortise Type exit devices shall be U.L. fire-rated for three hours for openings of up to 4'0" x 8'0" or Warnock Hersey listed for openings up to 4'0" x 10'0".

All exit devices shall meet ANSI/BHMA requirements for Grade I.
