Latch Retraction - EL Option |

This EL feature is available on all 3000/8000 Series Exit
Devices and provides for electrical latch retraction of the device from a remote location.
The exit device is considered fail secure. In the event of a power failure the exit device
defaults to the locked position. Optional hex key dogging available.
Wiring Diagram for Rim Mounted Devices:
This product is offered in both 12 VDC and 24 VDC. A
maximum of two electrified devices can be operated with one 4605 Transformer / 4603
Rectifier combination. When using this device with an automatic door operator ensure that
the operator is fitted with a time delay lock interface. If a time delay is not available
on the opener, use Adams Rite 29-0104 Power Supply (24 VDC only) with automatic door
interface.

Wiring Diagram for SVR, CVR or Mortise Devices:
A maximum of two electrified devices can be operated
sequentially with one 29-0104 Power Supply. It contains a pulse module which delivers a
pulse at 24 VDC to the high current coil every 6 seconds until the latch is pulled in
completely. A reflective sensor signals the module to stop pulsing and to switch on the
low current coil. The 29-0101 Power Supply is equipped with automatic door door interface
circuitry.

See separate Exit Device Specification Sheets for complete
ordering information and additional options.
