Applications

For applications which require a thinline profile such as a curtainwall, grilles, and above transoms, Airline gives the designer a number of options. Variations in design such as mounting flanges and architectural shapes are available.

For the available combinations of depth, blade style and angle, refer to the table below.

Extruded Sight Proof Louvers

Application

For applications where privacy or coverage of unsightly equipment is desired, the designer has a number of options with Airline louvers. All of the 2", 4" and 6" deep units listed here are sightproof and are available with either horizontal or vertical blades, except model XZ-4V. This model is manufactured only with vertical blades. To specify vertical blades, use a "V" suffix after the model number.

Another feature of these models is that the blade configuration and spacing prevents the insertion of foreign objects through the louver. When they are used to hide unsightly equipment, they also serve to protect it from damage due to vandalism, etc.
