BACNET HAS BECOME A REALITY

The desired ability to integrate products and systems from different manufacturers is now fulfilled. Building owners and operators are released from the shackles of proprietary systems.

Developed over a nearly ten-year period by ASHRAE committee members, BACnet is a non-proprietary communication standard adopted by ANSI that's also becoming a worldwide standard.

Alerton is the undisputed industry leader in BACnet product development, with a totally "native" BACnet system called BACtalk^®. BACtalk includes remarkable Windows^® NT operator workstations, central plant controllers, and a complete family of unitary controllers. all are native BACnet.

Multitudes of BACtalk systems are operating successfully, and others are being installed throughout the world. The most important BACnet pilot project in the industry, the 450 Golden Gate, GSA building in San Francisco, includes nearly 1,000 native BACnet controllers from Alerton.
