BACtalk Page - 3

NATIVE BACNET THROUGHOUT

Alerton's BACtalk system is more than just a gateway. BACtalk implements BACnet at all system levels.

The BACtalk Windows NT operator workstation is the hallmark of BACtalk. it provides 3-D animated graphics, database storage of all data and applications, and ActiveX support. And is a 32-bit application that's the easiest to use in the industry.

BACtalk includes controllers for networking, central plant equipment, and air-handling units and a complete family of unitary controllers for VAV boxes, fan coils, heat pumps, etc. There is even a dual-duct VAV controller, as used in the 450 Golden Gate project.

All controllers are fast, stand-alone devices that include scheduling. All compute values in 32-bit math and are native BACnet devices. Every BACtalk controller is fully programmable via our graphical programming language, VisualLogic™.

Integration to other systems is another BACnet strength. BACnet gateways to Simplex fire detection and alarm systems, Modbus devices and many other protocols complete the BACtalk system.

BACtalk is a complete system already in operation. BACtalk fully integrates your project using the BACnet protocol throughput.
