Undercabinet & Linear Lighting - Page 9

Little Inch
Techline Studio • Chicago, IL

The basic Little Inch with translucent diffuser provides general purpose undercabinet lighting. It produces a uniform, well diffused spread of light in an easy-to-conceal 1" profile. An optional opaque front lens with a clear linear prism bottom can be selected where elimination of front edge fixture brightness and/or a higher level of task illumination is desired.

Solid Front Little Inch

SF models are constructed with a solid metal front and a lay-in flat prismatic lens. This allows for easy lens removal when mounted flush to the front lip of a cabinet or when fully recessed into a pocket. Recessing is often desirable in custom casework, such as in a bar or display cabinet, to more fully conceal the fixture. Mounting flush to the front lip of cabinetry results in higher illumination on the work surface and can effectively remove the fixture from the line of sight of seated occupants in adjacent areas. The solid front series can also provide a more integrated look under metal or frameless wood cabinetry which have no front fascia. An optional 45° lateral prism lens can be specified to minimize glare and veiling reflections. An optional hex-cell mini-louver virtually eliminates perceived fixture brightness from any viewing angle and controls light spill.
