Specifications Louvers shall be Hexabolic 2 as manufactured by A.L.P. Lighting & Ceiling Products, Inc. and shall be injection molded of polystyrene or acrylic with all parabolic surfaces prepared with a primary undercoat and highly specular vacuum metalized finish. The cells shall be hexagonal in shape with each vertical wall a parabolic curve having its focus along the edge of the apposite parallel wall and a height of 1/2". Cell size opening to be 9/16" back opening and 11/16" front opening. This allows more light through the louver for increased efficiency. Cell dimensions shall be 3/4" x 3/4" x 1/2" and shall provide 40° shielding with a louver efficiency of not less than 47.8% (Specular Silver), and has a VCP rating of .99. Specifications Parabolic Louvers shall be Deco-Round 33 or Deco-Round 50 as manufactured by A.L.P. Lighting & Ceiling Products, Inc. These louvers shall be one piece injection molded of polystyrene base material. Deco-Round 50 cell sizes - 1" diameter cone set into a 1-5/16" cube louver pattern, providing 40° shielding from all angles. Deco-Round 50 cell sizes - 1-3/8" diameter cone set into a 1-7/8" cube louver pattern, providing 45° shielding from all angles. Specular finishes shall have all parabolic surfaces prepared with a primary undercoat and a highly specular (mirror-like) vacuum metalized finish. |
