CRT Parabolic Louver Assembly
 

Specifications

The CRT Parabolic Louver Assembly shall be as manufactured by A.L.P. Lighting & Ceiling Products, Inc. This assembly shall include a one peace injection molded polystyrene or acrylic specular parabolic louver, .040" high transmission matte acrylic overlay and matching specular Avoida-Notch™ frame. The continuous frame shall be sonically welded to the louver panel and shall capture the overlay sheet on three sides, with the fourth partially open for lens removal, forming a unitized assembly. The louver shall be 3/4" x 3/4" x 1/2" (high) square cell, providing approximately 40° shielding from all angles. The complete assembly utilizing a specular silver lauver shall have an efficiency of 44% and VCP index rating of .94.

Specular finishes shall have all parabolic surfaces prepared with a primary undercoat, highly specular aluminum (mirror-like) vacuum metalized finish. Louvers are available in specular finish of silver. Standard panel sizes are 1' x 4', 2' x 4' with larger or custom sizes available.

*Optional Overlay - This parabolic louver assembly is available with an optional Frost overlay sheet. This premium overlay improves the optical control and efficiencies of the assembly as follows: efficiency of 46% and a VCP of .95. These figures are based on a specular silver louver. This optional overlay sheet is a .045" acrylic material with reinforced fiberglass strands.

Lighted Ceilings - The CRT Parabolic Louver Assembly can be designed to fit most standard 2' x 2' and 2' x 4' exposed ceiling tee bar systems.

Lighted Fixtures - When ordering the CRT Parabolic Louver Assembly for fluorescent lighting fixtures, a sample doorframe must be supplied to A.L.P. prior to fabrication
