WHAT IS AN ALUMINUM COMPOSITE
MATERIAL (ACM)?
ACM is produced when you bond two thin
sheets of aluminum on either side of an exstruded thermoplastic core. The exposed surfaces
are coil coated with a variety of finishes.
WHAT ARE THE ADVANTAGES OF USING
ALPOLIC IN YOUR DESIGN PROJECT?
1. Product Properties
ALPOLIC® is a unique type of
ACM that offers the rigidity of heavy gauge steel with the inherent aluminum
characteristics of being lightweight and flexible. This rigidity is further complimented
by other product attributes of superior flatness, vibration damping, durability and easy
maintenance.
2. Ease of Fabrication
ALPOLIC® requires no special
tools, ordinary woodworking and metal working tools are all that are needed. The following
fabrication techniques can be easily accomplished... cutting, grooving, punching,
drilling, bending and curving. ALPOLIC® can be used with numerous attachment
methods (Please consult factory for detailed fabrication manual).
