ARCWAYS
Continuous handrail is horizontally laminated and shaped.
(It will not spring back like bent rails.) An endless array of custom profiles are
available, all featuring beautiful face grain top surface. (An Arcways exclusive feature)
Visible finger joints
OTHERS
Handrail is bent, (not shaped) using vertical
laminations which reveal numerous glue lines and undesirable edge grain on top face of
railing. Rail has visible finger joints, and only a limited variety of profiles are
available.
ARCWAYS
Balusters are attached with tap-loc fasteners. They
will not loosen! Finishing costs less because masking is not necessary. Finishing can
be done before assembly.
OTHERS
Balusters are only attached with glue and nails which can
loosen. Each baluster must be individually masked off for finishing which adds cost. |
