Standard, Thermally Protected, Low Voltage Rough-In for
Installation in New Construction
FEATURES
- Stamped galvanized steel frame with spun aluminum trim can.
- Adjustable hanger bars included, expand to 25" (635mm).
- Galvanized steel junction box with pryout knockouts.
Accessible from below ceiling.
- 50VA class H electromagnetic transformer. 120 volt input, 12
volt output. Accessible from below ceiling.
- Thermal Protector, opens circuit at 110 degrees C.
- Female socket connector. Socket and male connector supplied
with the Trim.
UL/CSA certified for safe use in ceilings without
insulation, or where insulation is kept 3" away from all sides and 1" above.

concrete pour.
- See down for the selection of approved trims and lamp
wattages available.
- To order rough-in for use with a remote transformer, add -12
to the catalog number. (Example:A30S-12).
