Low Voltage Remodeler Rough-In for Installation in Existing
Ceilings
FEATURES
- Stamped galvanized steel can and connection box assembly.
- Galvanized steel junction box with pryout knockouts. Rated
for thru branch wiring, 1-in/1-out, #12 AWG wire, rated 90 degree C minimum. Accessible
from below ceiling.
- 50VA class H electromagnetic, thermally protected
transformer. 120 volt input, 12 volt output.
- Spun aluminum trim can with attachment clips. Maximum
ceiling thickness 1-1/2" (38mm).
- Female socket connector. Socket and male connector supplied
with the Trim.
UL/CSA certified for safe use in ceilings without
insulation, or where insulation is kept 3" away on all sides, and 1" above.

concrete pour.
- See back for the selection of approved trims and lamp
wattages available.
- To order rough-in for use with a remote transformer, add -12
to the catalog number. (Example:A40R-12).
