GUIDE DETAILS
The guides on a Coiling Door serve two important functions.
The wall angle supports the full weight of the door and coil assembly from the wall and
lintel above. It also supports the two other angles that form a track for the curtain that
keeps the door in position, even under a windload. Usually made up of three steel angles,
the guides can be manufactured from aluminum or stainless steel as an option to the
standard. Shown here are five examples of guide mounting conditions to suit most
applications.
The All-Weather Rolling Service Door is fully weather
stripped around the door's perimeter, minimizing the infiltration of wind, dust, and
nature's elements. Hood baffle in Thermal Door details.
