COUNTER SHUTTERS |

|
Atlas Door Counter Shutters are miniature Coiling Service
Doors designed specifically for small opening like pass windows in kitchens, cafeterias,
kiosks, check rooms, ticket offices, post office windows, information windows, and
countless other applications. They coil upward into neat enclosures requiring little
sideroom and headroom. Shutter materials include aluminum with a clear anodized finish,
bronze painted aluminum, primed galvanized steel, stainless steel, and wood. Counter
shutters can be operated manually, with a removable crank arm, or by motor. Although
shutters up to 14'-0'' (4267mm) are generally manually operated, counter top depth is
sometimes so great it makes access to the shutter awkward. In such cases the unit
should be crank or motor-operated.
To lock the shutters, the bottom bar can be furnished with
slide bolts or cylinder locks. (Cylinder locks can be master-keyed by others.)
The bottom bar of the curtain is fitted with an astragal to
prevent damage to counter top finish and to act as a seal.

1-1/2'' (38.1mm) is dimension of top hood bead. Where
headroom is limited.
1-1/2'' (38.1mm) requirement can be eliminated by turning
bead down.
Where clearances are critical, dimensions shown can be
reduced. Refer to engineering.
Maximum size recommended is 14'-0''(4267mm) wide on manual
operation.
