SIDE COILING DOORS & GRILLES
Used in offices, schools, shopping malls,
and industrial buildings, Atlas Door side coiling units provide closure
in areas where overhead clearance is limited, mechanical operation is
desired or a curved configuration is needed.
Doors are used for concealed closure and
are available with galvanized steel, painted galvanized steel, stainless
steel, or aluminum flat slates. If visibility through the opening is required,
grilles are used, either in Clear-Vue plastic or in a tube and link "open
air" pattern.
These units can side coil into one or both
sides of the opening. Giving the architect new, alternative design solutions.
Single-side units coil into an enclosure at on end [maximum 35'-0'' (10.7mm)
wide], while bi-parting units require enclosures at both sides enabling
units to be designed and specified for use across wide openings. These
units can be crank-or motor-operated.
Add to this the design versatility that allows
it to curve around corners, and the architect is free to design creatively
as well as economically.

furnished without floor track. Removable segments of track 5'' (127mm)
long spaced approximately 8'0'' (2438mm) apart are furnished for insertion
into floor sleeves.
