office environments, many acoustical consultants, architects, and owners are specifying
sound masking loudspeaker systems to help block ambient noise and enhance productivity.
Atlas/Soundolier offers a self-contained sound masking loudspeaker/generator and a variety
of enclosed loudspeakers for use with a separate sound masking generator/equalizer.
THE MASKER" SELF-CONTAINED SYSTEM (UL LISTED)AM1100
Series. This economically priced, self-contained masking unit is an easy-to-install
solution for masking in specific areas. It can be installed above or below the ceiling in
waiting areas or outside office spaces where confidential conversations occur. Each model
includes a built-in power supply, digital noise generator, 2-watt amplifier, 4"
loudspeaker with 10-oz ceramic magnet packaged in a 6" (152mm) metal cube with a
one-point suspension for 360 positioning. Controls include a power switch, attenuator with
1½ dB per step. screwdriver-adjustable master volume, and two, low-pass filter controls.
Selection includes117-volt models with transformer, IC electronic regulator, and
resettable circuit breaker: and a 16-volt version with 8" leads for connection to an
external power transformer.

SUSPENSION MOUNTING SOUND MASKING LOUDSPEAKERSM900
/ M940 / M980 Series. Four and eight-inch sound masking loudspeaker systems meet a
wide variety of installation and acoustic requirements to achieve continuous background
coverage in an open office environment. Wired assemblies include loudspeaker, transformer,
enclosure, baffle and hardware. Hardware includes a 4 toot suspension chain and snap hooks
for easy and secure installation above most suspended tile ceilings. Chain may be
configured to meet sound level, direction, and acoustic objectives, as well as code
requirements. CRS enclosures are finished in black epoxy M900 Series is patch jute lined.
M940/M980 is fiberglass lined to eliminate metallic resonance. CRS baffle has a foam
dust-filter gasket. Options include a rotary switch wired to the transformer primary and a
conduit box with ½" knockouts.

SOUND MASKING GENERATOR AND GENERATOR / EQUALIZERThese
self-contained sound masking generators feature a digital noise source and are equipped
with an internal power supply operating at 117VAC. Either unit mounts to a 19"W rack
and requires one rack unit (1¾") of vertical panel space.
MG1500A. Features a digital noise source and a
digitally controlled analog equalizer with pushbutton switches and an LCD display menu.
Room and loudspeaker acoustic equalization is achieved with 14 adjustable broadband
filters on 1/3-octave centers from 200-4000 Hz., two filters centered at 8 and 16 kHz, and
a low-pass / high-pass filter. Ten memory settings are offered for storing different
equalization curves and built-in password security prevents tampering.
GPN-1200A. General purpose sound masking generator
features a switchable output that produces pink or white noise with an output level of .3V
into 600 ohms (-8dbm) for matching input circuits. Low-pass filter shapes frequencies from
16KHz to 250Hz at 12 dB per octave. Operates at 117VAC @ 60 Hz.
