APPLICATIONS

Specify and install Strategy Systems6" loudspeakers to deliver full-range performance simitar to m 8" (203mm) unit. Patented system (U.S. Patent #5206464) satisfies the needs of owners, architects, contractors, and consultants by delivering quality sound reproduction and wide dispersion in an economical, attractive, and easy-to-install system. Full-range Model FA116 is a general-purpose loudspeaker for music and paging system applications. It provides accurate music reproduction and clear voice-intelligibility for use in offices, meeting rooms, lobbies, retail outlets, restaurants, convention centers, churches, schools, and public facilities. Coaxial, 50-watt Model FA136 is also available for higher performance 6" system installations (request SL1-1436).

GENERAL DESCRIPTION

Strategy Series Model FA116 is an efficient 6" loudspeaker rated at 25 watts with wide frequency response and broad dispersion. Assembly includes a 6" (152mm) driver with a formed paper cone, weather-protective half-rolled polyether foam surround, whizzer. and 10 oz. ceramic magnet.

The loudspeaker's full-range capability is optimized when installed within the FA97-6 Series high performance (.17ft3) enclosures with acoustic batting Economy Series FA95-6 are shorter (.14ft3) versions without acoustic batting. Both are offered with no knockouts (NK) to meet code and application requirements. All models provide for front-loading of the loudspeaker and install quickly and easily into the ceiling via screwdriver-adjustable clamps or conventional screws. Fast installation is also enhanced by Strategy Series easy-to-install, push-on grilles. Attractive, small diameter round grilles and a unique square version are equipped with three serrated studs for hardware-free installation. Loudspeaker may also be wall mounted using plaster ring Model FAPR-6 or surface-mounted using Models FA175-6 or 617-6WD.
