ARCHITECTS' AND ENGINEERS' SPECIFICATIONS

Loudspeaker system shall be Atlas/Soundolier Strategy Series loudspeaker Model FA 116, acoustically matched enclosure Model (FA97-6, FA97- 6NK, FA95-C, FA95-6NK), and flush grille Model (FA51-6, FA170-6, FA720-6, or FA730-6). Nominal frequency response of the system shall be 90Hz - 20 kHz and the sensitivity shall be 94 dB (peak) and 89.6 dB (average) measured at 1 W / 1 M across the full bandwidth. Power rating shall be 16 watts RMS, 25 watts peak. Loudspeaker shall be comprised of a 6" diameter, low frequency driver having a formed paper cone, weather-protective half-rolled polyether foam surround and whizzer. Magnet shall be a nominal weight of 10 oz. and the voice coil diameter shall be 1". Dispersion shall be 130° (2 kHz octave band, -6dB points). Transformer-equipped shall include a high-performance, 6" models shall include factory-wired (70.7/25 or 100) volt transformer with primary taps of (.5,1,2,4 or .5,1, 2, 5). Loudspeaker shall front-toad specified FA97-6 Series enclosure, standard FA95-6 Series enclosure, or Model FAPR-6 plaster ring. Unit shall be equipped with (rotating clamps or conventional screws) for ceiling installation and stud receivers for grille mounting. Optional: Loudspeaker shall be surface mounted using enclosure Model (FA175-6, 617-6WD) or recess mounted using quick-fit frame/grille Model FA-6G: or mount to an 8" enclosure or baffle using adapter ring Model FAMT-6. In suspended ceiling installation tile bridge Model FA81-6 shall be utilized. FA97 enclosure Models shall be lined with high density acoustic batting.
