SURFACE MOUNT ENCLOSURES - FA175-6 and 617-6WD Unique to the Strategy Series 6" system are surface mount enclosure Models FA175-6 and 617-6WD. Both attractive enclosures will accommodate the FA136 or FA116 to meet application requirements.

FA175-6. This square, surface-mount enclosure accepts Model FA170-6 push-on grille and is ideal for institutional, health care, and industrial applications. The enclo- sure is constructed of 20-ga. CRS, undercoated, patch jute lined, and finished in textured white. Dimensions: 10" W (254mm) x10" H (254mm) x 6" D (105mm). Internal cubic feet: .347

617-6WD. Wooden slope-front wall baffle/enclosure allows for surface mount installation of Strategy Series 6" loudspeakers. The ported enclosure, which is covered in a textured black vinyl and includes a black fabric grille, is perfect for reserved applications such as corporate, educational, religious, and office suite venues. Dimensions: 8" W (203mm) x 9" H (229mm) x 6-7/8" (175mm) top projection x 4-½ " (114mm) bottom projection. Internal cubic feet: .237

ARCHITECTURAL SERIES IN-CEILING FRAME / GRILLE - Model FA-6G

The Architectural Series FA-6G in-ceiling frame/grille for mounting Strategy Series 6" loudspeakers is designed as a companion for in-wall Models AS76, AS88, and AS66. Select the FA-6G for installation of 6" ceiling loudspeakers into shallow applications where an acoustic enclosure will not fit. The white quick-fit plastic frame with three integral rotating clamps, cosmetic fabric shield, and perforated metal grille presents a stylish appearance. The FA-6G can be mounted into ceilings up to 1-¼" thick, has a cutout dia. of 6-½ ", and a frame dia. of 7-¾".

PLASTER RING - Model FAPR-6

Model FAPR-6 plaster ring is used to mount Strategy Series 6" loudspeakers into ceilings and walls for applications where an enclosure cannot be used, or where it is not desired. Unit is constructed with the same internal mounting flange as FA97-6 and FA95-6 enclosures. It may be used to mount non-transformer equipped loudspeaker models into walls having a min. depth of 3-½ "*. The FAPR-6 will facilitate installation of transformer-equipped loudspeaker models into walls with a minimum depth of 5-½ "*. Plaster ring is constructed of 20-gauge CRS and finished in textured black epoxy. It is equipped with four threaded inserts for loudspeaker installation and three stud receptacles for mounting Strategy Series grilles. The mounting mechanism is comprised of three rotating clamps (included).

TRIM RING - Model FA-TR6

The Strategy Series FA-TR6 trim ring/rough-in bracket, for wall or ceiling-mount appli- cations, installs prior to the drywall and serves as a pattern cut-out for the drywall contrac- tor to finish-out the wall leaving the proper opening for a FA97-6 or FA95-6 enclosure. This step identifies pre-wire location, expediting sound system installation. Trim ring measures 25-5/8"L and will accommodate 3/8" to 1-¼" drywall. Mounting holes are provided to match both 16" and 24" center studs. FA-TR6 is finished in black epoxy.
